The 9th annual Reno Ukulele Fest, one of the largest ukulele events anywhere, returns to the in Sparks, Nevada, April 6-April 9.
Registration opens Thursday April 6, with early-bird workshops and a reception. Most of the action happens on the two middle days, when the bulk of the workshops are scheduled. Expect to see workshops by Faith Ako, Gerald Ross, Abe Lagrimas Jr., Steven Espaniola, Jim D’Ville, Dani Joy, Michael Powers, Peter Luongo, and more to be announced.
Friday night is the “Ukulele All-Stars” concert, featuring many of the instructors in a big blow-out performance, and Saturday will feature a performance by Victor & Penny with the Loose Change Orchestra, a swing group from Kansas City.
