The folks at Eastman Music have recently expanded into the ukulele field, and Eastman’s Steve Bernstein was kind enough to give us a quick tour through the new models at this year’s NAMM show. Available now is an all-mahogany series of ukes, which come in soprano, concert, and tenor sizes. These models feature bone nut and saddle, rosewood fretboard and binding, Grover tuners, and gloss finish. Bernstein also gives us a sneak peek at the upcoming archtop series of ukes, which will feature hand-carved spruce tops with f-holes and Schertler pickup systems. These will be available in both mahogany and maple versions.
